While today's technology provides for making a lot of daily tasks easier, it also makes human interaction less personal. Allison L. Wade decided to make art out of everyone's least favorite text; the break-up text. The break-up text is infamous for being the rudest possible way to end a relationship with someone, since you don't give them any chance to talk to you about it in person or to even hear your voice when you say it. The style of her art is very minimalistic, perhaps to show the lack of emotion perceived by the recipient of the message. I, personally, like a few of her pieces, and I included them in the slideshow. A few of her pieces, though, are too busy and disorganized for me, so I am not a huge fan of her entire portfolio. | |
